Mia is a multi-hyphenate performer, director, and photographer with a deep passion for creating queer-affirming spaces and empowering multi-passionate artists. They’ve always loved making people feel good in front of the camera, and genuinely still think it’s the coolest thing ever that they get to do that for a living.
It all began as a cute side hustle taking castmates’ headshots and quickly became a way to bring all of their artistic worlds together. For over 12 years, Mia has photographed performers and creatives of all kinds, with a deep understanding of the pressure to “pick a lane” and a firm belief that most artists are more than one thing,

How the process goes down
01. book your session
Fill out the contact page, set a date, a deposit, and start getting excited!
02. plan your looks
We have a consultation call and plan your looks based on all the things I'll learn about you.
03. headshot day!
You get your make up done. You have a fabulous shoot. We hug! (if you like hugs)
04. pick your favorites
A week later (max), you get your photos in an online gallery! You send me your favorite images for retouching.
05. get your final edits
I retouch them to taste, send them back to you, and bam! You're all set.
Frequently Asked Questions
In my studio in Long Island City. We are off of the N, W, E, F, M, G, and 7 trains! Parking is tough, however there's frequently a spot or two open between 10am-4p.m. right in front of the building, but I'd recommend public transit or an uber!
We have a FAB in house make up artist Akyiaa Wilson. Make up ranges between $175-$375 depending on level of application, gender expression, changes mid-shoot, and whether or not you need hair help!
It's not recommended you do your own hair and make up, but of course, I won't stop you if that's what you want to do. Make up for camera is slightly different than your everyday go-to make up. Our make up artist specializes in make up FOR camera, and also will tailor your look to be as close to your everyday look as possible. She's a dream!
My standard turnaroud is 3-7 business days! If you need the photos faster, you can ask for a rush delivery of $50 to receive your photos next day!
You'll receive all of your useable images from the shoot edited for style and color, in full resolution. Typically you can expect 150+ images, increasing for our longer sessions.
Yup! We can do whatever your need in your alotted time. I have a pretty good concept of how much we can accomplish in a session so tell me what your dreams and visions are and I'll let you know in our coaching call what is achievable! If you need to cover a couple different "hypens" I recommend the Full Spectrum Creative Package.
YES. We can break it up as much as you need. Just ask. I'd rather you have your photos NOW and pay over the course of a couple months than wait.
Our coaching call is to road-map your shoot. We go over your career goals, photoshoot goals, and any special requests and make a game plan for your session so you get the most out of your time. We will talk industry, wardrobe, hair and make up, and get to know you a bit! It's fun and takes a lot of the stress out of the preparation.
